My ultimatum to myself. No more falling off the WW wagon and clambering aboard a year or two later.
This is my last chance.
I have battled PCOS and obesity since puberty, and I have suffered terribly for it. My weight has fluctuated from size 12 up to 18, down to 14, up to 16, down to 12, and back to 16 again. I'm not getting any younger, I'm 35 years old and want so much to be a mother, my ultimate goal is to have a beautiful child with my husband.
We have been trying to conceive (TTC) since September 2005. In that time I have used an oral fertility treatment, which I conceived and miscarried twice while using. Then I conceived twice naturally and miscarried both. In that time, we were living a very stressful life trying to operate a business that ultimately failed. Now we are living on the other side of the world trying to make a fresh start for ourselves, so what better time to make a fresh start on my health too?
I have decided that, rather than weigh myself once a week using bathroom scales, I will measure myself every two weeks with a fantastic little measuring tape I got from Rosemary Conley's website.
My starting measurements on 28th February were:
